SCENARIO 2-The 12 metre single right hand scew vessel BROADBEAM (1E survey) prepares to depart with 45 pax boarded for a dinner cruise. She is tucked in between other vessels that are also berthed port side to with current on her bow and a strong wind blowing her onto the wharf.

SCENARIO 4-In a stiff breeze that is with the current, the single inboard 10 metre yacht RUNAWAY (1B survey), with a crew of two, must pick up a floating mooring and be made secure for a long stay.

SCENARIO 5-The 10 metre twin sponson, single outboard oyster barge DREADNOUGHT (2D survey) has been neglected for some months and has developed a list to port and is down by the bow. There is a strong run out tide and wind and waves are lashing onshore against the wharf where you intend berthing.

SCENARIO 8-The 12 metre displacement charter fishing vessel CATCHALOT (1C & 2C survey) is permitted for three crew and thirteen passengers. Just before dawn on 24th Dec, with a full compliment on board, she departs the wharf outbound to cross Port Macquarie river bar for a days fishing.
